2025 International Short Drama Festival
Following the resounding success of the inaugural International Short Drama Festival in AFM Las Vegas & UCI in 2024, the second edition (ISDF 2025 - In AFM Hollywood) is officially launched!
This year’s festival will bring together global short drama creators, film scholars, and industry leaders, coming together to make another leap forward in the art of short dramas.
Festival Highlights
Grand Award Ceremony
To be held on November 5, 2025, 13:30 pm - 16:30 pm, at the TCL Chinese Six Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with red carpet glamour and a star-studded presence.
International Short Drama Forum
To be hosted at the AFM main venue, Fairmont Century Plaza, Hollywood. Distinguished guests from top academic institutions and film industries in China and the U.S. will discuss creation, distribution, markets, and the future of short dramas.
Call for Submissions
Outstanding short dramas and their creators from around the world are invited to participate. Whether the genre is emotional, suspense, comedy, or experimental, all works with unique artistic expression and distinctive storytelling are welcome.
Jury Panel
This year’s Short Drama Festival will feature a jury panel formed by the International Short Drama Association, alongside professors and experts from USC, UCLA, UCI, the Beijing Film Academy, and the Communication University of China, as well as senior professionals from the film and television industries in both the United States and China, along with specialists from third-party data platforms focusing on short dramas, to ensure a professional, fair, and international evaluation.
